Homon Park is a historic site in Oyama, Shizuoka, with registered cultural properties, a Japanese garden and two distinctive historic buildings: Homon Kaikan and the Western House. Its historic buildings and grounds have also served as filming locations for numerous Japanese films and television dramas.
Rather than a large tourist attraction, this is a calm local place to slow down, enjoy the architecture and experience a little of everyday Japan near Mt. Fuji.
